Imagine spending your weekend creating a piece of art for an athlete and then said athlete not only notices it — but shares the work and even goes one step further to complete this epic story?
That’s exactly what happened Saturday with Didi Gregorius when he spotted this artwork from a young fan.
u/dave_6863 shared a time-lapse of drawing the shortstop, followed by the final result on his Instagram.

Gregorius not only shared the work to his own page, but wanted to return the favor — and did so in an incredible way.
If you don’t already know, Gregorius has quite the creative side when it comes to art, photography, music and even tattoos. This time, he let his art come to life by drawing a picture of this fan during one of his own baseball games.
What an awesome way to say thank you. I'm sure he'll be getting that framed.
