Is an insurance company trolling Philly with Nationals championship bus?

The Washington Nationals won the World Series. As a resident of the city of Philadelphia, you absolutely hate to see it.

Another thing you hate to see on the streets of Philadelphia is a bus celebrating the Nationals' championship plastered all over the side of it.

As the great blogger Dan McQuade noted in his tweet of the bus, "Now that is just rude."

It's unclear exactly why this bus appeared in Philadelphia over the weekend. If I had to guess, it's a marketing ploy by GEICO whose name can be seen on the bus in multiple locations. Place a couple Nationals busses in the city that Bryce Harper now plays in and rub it in our faces and maybe some people will start talking/blogging about it and they'll help even more people save 15% on car insurance. Except this is Philly we are talking about, Geico should now be banned for life. I will gladly pay 15% more in car insurance now, thank you very much.

If you take a close look at the bus, it appears to have the same wrapping as the busses the Nationals rode in their parade down in Washington this weekend. So is there a chance they simply "borrowed" the Big Busses from Philly to use in the parade and haven't had time to unwrap them? Perhaps.
