We're coming up on a decade since Jimmy Rollins uttered the words "team to beat" down in Clearwater.
Oh, how things have changed.
Not only are the New York Mets coming off of a World Series appearance but they're also having a blast getting to spring training this season.
That's mostly thanks to Yoenes Cespedes. For those not following at home, Cespedes has been showing up to camp in ridiculous rides. Before today they were ultra expensive cars. But thanks to an idea from teammate Noah Syndergaard, they went with a lower -- but more authentic -- horsepower on Tuesday.
This is simply another tale in which Cespedes loves animals. Over the weekend he bought a prize-winning pig. For real.
Why can't the Phillies buck up and sign a ridiculous animal-loving human like that?
