The Phillies have had four National League Rookie of the Year Award winners.
Tonight, they will find out if they have a fifth.
Alec Bohm is a finalist for the award along with San Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth and Milwaukee Brewers reliever Devin Williams. Here is a breakdown of the candidates.

Results of the voting, done by members of the Baseball Writers Association of America, will be announced on the MLB Network at 6 p.m. tonight.
The American League winner will also be announced. Houston pitcher Cristian Javier is a finalist along with a pair of outfielders, Kyle Lewis of Seattle and Luis Robert of the Chicago White Sox.
If Bohm wins the NL award, he will become the third Phillies third baseman to do so. Dick Allen, who had his No. 15 retired by the ballclub this summer, was NL Rookie of the Year in 1964 and Scott Rolen won it in 1997. Pitcher Jack Sanford was the Phillies’ first rookie of the year in 1957 and Ryan Howard was the team’s last winner in 2005.
Phillies manager Joe Girardi appeared Monday morning on MLB Network and threw his support behind Bohm.

“I think he’s the guy,” Girardi said. “Of course, I’m partial.”
Bohm arrived in the majors on Aug. 13, 10 days after his 24th birthday, and in 44 games hit .338 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had four homers and 23 RBIs, the most by any NL rookie.
Bohm really stood out in September. He hit .367 in the month and had 40 hits. Those were the fifth-best and second-best marks among all big-leaguers in that month.
Girardi mentioned how clutch Bohm was. For the season, he led the majors with a .452 batting average (19 for 42) with runners in scoring position. His on-base percentage with runners in scoring position was .519, third-best in the majors behind Juan Soto and Freddie Freeman.
“The clutch, the game-winning RBIs, his performance with runners in scoring position,” Girardi said. “To hit .338 as a rookie with the pitching you face in the NL East is not easy.”
Bohm was the Phillies’ first-round draft pick (No. 3 overall) in 2018.
