The Phillies completed their Edgar Garcia trade with the Tampa Bay Rays from August 18 by acquiring 20-year-old right-handed pitcher Rodolfo Sanchez as the player to be named later.
Sanchez last appeared in the Class A New York-Penn League in 2019 in the Rays' system, posting a 3.41 ERA in 13 starts with good command numbers.
There is some video here of his repertoire.
