The 2023 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot is loaded with ex-Phillies, including two who continue to generate momentum toward possible elections.
Scott Rolen, who received 63.2% of votes a year ago, is on the ballot for the sixth time. He was the biggest riser in last year's voting with an increase of 10.3%. He fell about 45 votes short.
Former Phillies closer Billy Wagner has also gotten some recent love from voters. He was up 4.6% last year to receive 51% of votes in his seventh year on the ballot.

Only David Ortiz was elected last year. Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling placed second, third and fifth in voting but it was the 10th and final year on the ballot for all three.
Rolen, Wagner, Todd Helton and Andruw Jones are viewed as the players most likely to see an increase.
Jimmy Rollins (9.4% last year) and Bobby Abreu (8.6%) remain on the ballot. It will be Rollins' second year and Abreu's fourth.

Jayson Werth is one of 14 players to appear on the ballot for the first time in a class of newcomers led by Carlos Beltran.
Ryan Howard was one-and-done in 2022 as he did not receive the necessary 5% of votes to remain on the ballot another year.
Voting is conducted by Baseball Writers Association of America members with at least 10 consecutive years of membership. Results will be announced on January 24 and players elected will be inducted in Cooperstown on July 23.
