Starting at third base and batting seventh a day after hitting a walk-off home run and making pointed comments about fan reaction, Sean Rodriguez heard some boos when he stepped to the plate for the first time Tuesday night.
It will be interesting to hear whether this was a one-game response from Phillies fans and they move on, or if it carries over into the future. This fanbase is experienced enough to know that booing the man every AB is unnecessary, even though his phrasing could’ve used some work.
