Today's lineup: Cody Asche hits third for first time

The Phillies on Tuesday night won for the first time this season when trailing after eight innings.

Manager Pete Mackanin has made a few lineup changes for Wednesday afternoon's matchup against righty Archie Bradley. Cameron Rupp, who is 6 for 19 with two homers and five RBIs in his last five starts, is starting behind the plate instead of Carlos Ruiz. Tommy Joseph is back at first base; he was hitless in five at-bats in the series opener, striking out four times. Ryan Howard started Tuesday, and his bases-loaded walk drove in the winning run.

Despite striking out three times last night, Cody Asche moves from sixth to third in the batting order. Today will be the first instance this season in which Asche has batted third; 65 of his 78 at-bats have been in the fifth, sixth, or seventh slot. The Diamondbacks also make a notable shift in their order, moving struggling former Phillie Michael Bourn from second to ninth.
