Today's Lineup: Maikel Franco sits in Game 1 of doubleheader

Despite being activated from the DL on Thursday, Maikel Franco continues to sit as we head into Game 1 of the Phillies' doubleheader against the Miami Marlins on Saturday at Citizens Bank Park.

The rookie third baseman, who was scheduled to start on Friday night before that game was rained out, has been out of the lineup since Aug. 11, when he fractured his left wrist.

Instead, Cody Asche will be starting at third base for Game 1 at 4:05 p.m., while Freddy Galvis will bat leadoff and move from second base to his usual shortstop position. Darin Ruf continues to man first base in place of Ryan Howard. Since Sept. 1, Ruf has posted an .853 OPS in 19 starts.

This will likely be Aaron Harang's last start with the Phillies. The 37-year-old has struggled to the finish after a solid start to the season, holding a 6-15 record and 4.86 ERA. Harang will be opposed by Tom Koehler, who has an 0-2 record in three starts against the Phillies this season.

Darnell Sweeney will continue his case for a 2016 roster spot as he starts at second base. Since coming over from the Dodgers in the Chase Utley trade, Sweeney has managed to hit just .141 in his first big-league stint.

Here is the lineup for Game 1:

1. Freddy Galvis, SS
2. Aaron Altherr, LF
3. Odubel Herrera, CF
4. Darin Ruf, 1B
5. Cody Asche, 3B
6. Darnell Sweeney, 2B
7. Carlos Ruiz, C
8. Brian Bogusevic, RF
9. Aaron Harang, P
