With the Chicago Bulls reportedly set to hire Arturas Karnisovas to run basketball operations, the former Denver GM may look to pluck a member of the Sixers’ front office.
Sixers senior VP of player personnel Marc Eversley is a candidate for the Bulls’ GM job, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Eversley was hired by then-president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo — who reportedly interviewed with Chicago for the position Karnisovas was hired for — in May of 2016. Before that, Eversley was with the Washington Wizards as their VP of player personnel. He worked with Colangelo previously in Toronto.
Prior to his NBA front office experience, Eversley worked for Nike for a decade as a player relationship manager.
Eversley’s name been brought up in GM searches before. Back in 2018, the Sixers granted permission to the Charlotte Hornets to interview Eversley. That job eventually went to long-time Lakers executive Mitch Kupchak.
If Eversley does ultimately get the position, he could look to take a member or two of the Sixers’ contingent with him.
