It appears Sauce Castillo is poised to be red hot.
The new sharp-shooting addition to the Philadelphia 76ers, Nik Stauskas, is officially a game-time decision for the team's opener on Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics up in New England, but it sounds like the sauce is ready to be uncorked.
As CSNPhilly.com's John Finger reported earlier, Stauskas was a full participant in practice today.
Bob Cooney of the Daily News also witnessed Stauskas nail 30-straight three pointers. Now he just has to translate that kind of accuracy to a game setting.
Stauskas later acknowledged Cooney's Tweet with a message, perhaps about tomorrow night?
Sixers fans are clearly hoping to see Stauskas out there tomorrow night because if you watched any of this team during preseason, they couldn't put the ball in the basket with much efficiency.
Stauskas or not, the Sixers return tomorrow. That's something.
