NEW YORK -- Tuesday was Bojan Bogdanovic Night at the Barclays Center.

The Nets' starting forward scored a career-high 44 points against the Sixers. Bogdanovic tied Drazen Petrovich as the highest-scoring foreign-born Net.

Three days after beating the Nets in Philadelphia, the Sixers gave up a season-high for points and lost, 131-114.

Turning point
Ish Smith scored the first bucket of the game, a trey, to give the Sixers their only lead. The Nets opened on a 7-0 run to take a 7-3 lead. After Hollis Thompson scored the Sixers’ fifth point of the game, the Nets went on a 12-0 spurt. They led the Sixers 32-15 at the end of the first quarter behind 17 points from Bogdanovic.

Inside the box score
Bogdanovic scored his career high by shooting 17 for 27 from the field, 4 for 9 from three and 6 for 7 from the line. He also grabbed eight rebounds.

Thaddeus Young recorded a double-double with 14 points, a game-high 16 rebounds and four assists, while Brook Lopez posted a double-double of his own with 18 points, 10 boards and four dimes.

Former Delaware 87er Sean Kilpatrick scored 19 points (6 for 9 from the floor) during his second 10-day contract with the Nets.

Isaiah Canaan led the Sixers with 20 points (5 for 10 from three, 5 for 5 from the line). Nerlens Noel (8 for 16 from the floor, six rebounds), Smith (6 for 13 from the floor, game-high six assists) and Nik Stauskas (6 for 13 from the field, seven rebounds) each scored 18 points. Carl Landry led the Sixers with eight rebounds (and eight points).

Calling all Sixers
The shorthanded Sixers utilized all 10 available players. All but Sonny Weems clocked at least 12 minutes. Robert Covington and Jerami Grant sat out another game following the NBA concussion protocol. Richaun Holmes also missed the game with a right Achilles strain.

Canaan continues to shoot
Canaan netted at least four treys for the fifth time in seven games. In each of the other two games, he went 0 for 5.

The Sixers return home to Philadelphia to host the Wizards and Thunder in back-to-back games Thursday and Friday. After that, the Celtics come to town Sunday.
