
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook barrelled into Philadelphia and dominated Friday against the Sixers. Westbrook posted a triple-double and Durant followed with a double-double.
The Thunder controlled the entire second half en route to a 111-97 win.
Turning point
The Sixers took a 44-41 lead with 4:57 to go in the first half. The Thunder responded with an 11-0 run to go up eight exactly two minutes later. Nerlens Noel committed two turnovers during the stretch. The Sixers trailed the remainder of the game.
Inside the box score
Westbrook recorded his league-leading 13th triple double of the season with 20 points (8 for 20 from the field), 15 rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks. Durant notched his 25th double-double with 26 points (11 for 16 from the floor), 13 rebounds and six assists. Steven Adams added a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks) while Enes Kanter added 16 points and seven boards off the bench.
Nik Stauskas scored a career-high 23 points (9 for 15 from the field, 5 for 7 from three) to lead the Sixers. Hollis Thompson dropped 16 points (5 for 12 from the field, 2 for 8 from three), four rebounds and three assists. Jerami Grant had 15 points (4 for 14 from the floor, 7 for 12 from the line), six rebounds and three blocks. Nerlens Noel neared a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Problems on the glass
The Thunder grabbed a new opponents' season-high 63 rebounds against the Sixers, who had given up 60 boards against the Wizards on Thursday. The Sixers pulled down 36 against the Thunder. The Sixers came into the game tied for last in the league with the Lakers, giving up an average of 46.5 boards per game.

Stauskas (23 points) has scored 15-plus points in three of his last four games, and double digits in four of his last five.
Not painting a pretty picture
The Thunder scored 58 points in the paint, the 25th time this season the Sixers have allowed 50 points or more there. Their opponents’ season average entering the game was 45.3 points in the paint.
