Jason Richardson will soon have a new home.
The veteran shooting guard will sign a non-guaranteed contract with the Atlanta Hawks, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Richardson appeared in 19 games for the Sixers last season, averaging 9.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 22 minutes per game.
His 2014-15 season did not begin until Feb. 20, as he was recovering from a left knee injury suffered at the end of the 2012-13 season. Richardson sat out the entire 2013-14 campaign before returning last season after over two years away from game action.
The 34-year-old is entering his 14th NBA season. He spent the first six years of his career with Golden State before stints with Phoenix, Orlando, Charlotte and the Sixers.
With Richardson departing for the Hawks, the Sixers are left with a youthful backcourt. Guards Isaiah Canaan (24), JaKarr Sampson (22), Nik Stauskas (21), Hollis Thompson (24), J.P. Tokoto (21) and Tony Wroten (22) are all 24 years old or younger.
