Remember the time Glenn Robinson III was a Process Sixer?

The Sixers acquired Glenn Robinson III along with Alec Burks in a trade with the Warriors Thursday.

You may remember his dad, Glenn “Big Dog” Robinson as an All-Star with the Bucks. You might also remember his dad’s brief stint with the Sixers playing alongside Allen Iverson.

Blink and you would’ve missed it. On March 7, 2015, the Sixers claimed Robinson, a rookie second-round pick out of Michigan, off waivers from the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played in just 10 games to end the 2014-15 season with one start.

He did manage to sneak in the obligatory first Philly cheesesteak though.

No word on the spot, cheese choice or whether he went wit or witout.

It’s pretty crazy that Robinson went from a footnote in Sam Hinkie’s Process to key trade acquisition almost five years later.

Robinson did tell reporters back in 2015 what he remembered about his dad’s stint with the Sixers.

"One of my favorite memories he was actually wearing a headband, and he never wears a headband," Robinson said. "A.I. threw a behind the back pass to him on the fast break and he dunked it.

"Also, I had a chance to meet Allen Iverson in the locker room back then. I don't know if he remembers, but hopefully I get a chance to see him again. He called me 'Shorty.' I would like to remind him of that."

If he didn’t get to back then, there’s a decent chance he’ll get to now.

Long live The Process.
