Another day, another series of moves for the Sixers.
The team announced Friday the signings of Cory Jefferson and Darin Johnson. Matt Farrell and D.J. Hogg have been waived.
Hogg and Farrell, who were both signed Wednesday, could still be among the four players the Sixers select for their G-League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.

Johnson, who played in college at the University of Washington and Cal State Northridge, was taken with the No. 12 pick in the 2017 G-League draft by the Blue Coats. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard averaged 6.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in his first season.
Jefferson actually played against the Sixers this preseason, joining Melbourne United for their Sep. 28 game in Philadelphia. With Josh Boone injured, Melbourne needed an emergency big man for their game against the Sixers. Jefferson had two points and two rebounds in 13 minutes.
The last selection in the 2013 NBA draft out of Baylor, the 27-year-old Jefferson has had stints in the G League, Philippines, Italy and Turkey.
The Sixers need to trim their roster down to 15 players by Monday. The team currently has 18; Emeka Okafor, Jefferson and Johnson appear to be the three names who likely won’t be with the team for the season opener against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
