Sixers' Tobias Harris ‘very embarrassed' to reveal his weirdest Google search

Tobias Harris shared his weirdest Google search since the NBA season has been suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic in an interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks.

He predicted he would be “fried up on the Internet” for it, and we will oblige, or at least put it out there.

The Sixers’ forward had a bit of a situation with his toilet.

“I’m very embarrassed to say this," he said, "but [I Googled] ‘How to unclog a toilet bowl.’

“It’s funny, I clogged up the toilet bowl and I got the plunger. So then I’m like, ‘Dang.’ I was doing the plunger but it wasn’t working. My girlfriend, Jasmine, she’s downstairs. She knows how to do it, but I did not call her. So I was on the phone, I Googled it, saw the video. Figured it out, so I was good from there.”

Huh. It’s unclear what exactly Harris would have learned on Google that he didn’t already know, since the most conventional method for unclogging a toilet bowl is using a plunger. Maybe using a drain snake? Whatever he discovered obviously worked for him.

At the beginning of the interview, Harris pulled off a retro Phillies hat to reveal a hairline that he classified as “wobbly” but “strong.” Along with his Google history, he also talked with Rooks about his confidence in the Sixers to make the NBA Finals if the 2019-20 season ultimately resumes and his thoughts on athletes' speaking out on social issues, as well as some lighter topics like the most bored NBA player amid the coronavirus outbreak. He had no hesitation answering that one.

“Matisse [Thybulle], easy,” he said. “He’s losing his mind right now.”

Rooks asked Harris to take a crack at naming the Sixers’ all-time starting five. He put teammate Ben Simmons in the lineup next to Allen Iverson, Julius Erving and Charles Barkley. Wilt Chamberlain was the no-brainer choice at center, though Harris admitted he thought for a second about a different answer.

“I was going to be nice and put Joel [Embiid] in there,” he said with a laugh, “but then I was like, Jo, I really can’t put you in there over Wilt, dude. I can’t do it.”
