Totally insane last-second luck lands Sixers bettor $100K

The Sixers held off the Celtics at home on Wednesday night thanks in large part to MVP-level contributions from Joel Embiid, who continues to look great so far this year.

One sports bettor in particular is extremely thankful for Embiid's huge night.

The Sixers superstar dropped 42 points on 19 shots, drained 17 free throws, and was a menace on both ends of the floor as always. But the stat that mattered the most to Instagram user @4.Lo__ was Embid's final contribution in the game

Because he'd placed a $250 long-shot, 11-leg parlay on a number of prop bets in the Sixers game with a chance to win a ridiculous $103,041.28. His bets included taking the over on 9.5 rebounds for Embiid.

And, with 26 seconds left on the clock and the Sixers up by eight after a pair of Ben Simmons free throws, Embiid had just nine rebounds and the game was in hand. It looked like @4.Lo__ was going to come up one board short of $100K.

But then Jaylen Brown launched a three-pointer on the ensuing possession, and guess who grabbed the rebound:

BOOM.

On the last recorded play of the game, a perfect 10 rebounds for Embiid, and a massive windfall for one lucky sports bettor:

I legitimately cannot imagine how sick he must've been before the rebound, and how unbelievably elated he must've been when Embiid snagged the ball with 17 seconds to play.

Insane.

The Sixers play the Celtics again Friday night.
