No. 2 seed gets way nicer locker room than No. 10 seed in Brooklyn

Both the Villanova Wildcats and the Temple Owls are enjoying the luxury of playing their first round game of the NCAA Tournament in not-too-far Brooklyn, New York.

But the luxury seems to stop there, at least for one team.

Comcast SportsNet's John Clarke is up at the Barclays Center and says life might be a little bit more comfortable for the 'Nova kids.

"The big difference I see with these two schools is it pays to be the No. 2 seed," Clark said. "Villanova gets the big Islander locker room. Temple is in what looks like an officials' closet down the hallway. It pays to be a No. 2 seed. Neither team is talking about the possible Big Five battle on Sunday. They're saying all the right things and are concentrating on their first round opponents as they should."

Temple and Nova could meet on Sunday if Villanova beats UNCA and Temple can upset Iowa on Friday. That would make for a fun weekend of trash talking in the Delaware Valley.

I'm sure the Villanova folks are hoping that little extra comfort can help them avoid another early tournament exit.
