Michael Jordan won a record 30 straight games against a single player without ever losing. Sherman "The General" Douglas was his unfortunate victim.
Jordan was 27-0 against Douglas heading into the Nets-Bulls series in his "Last Dance" season when he famously claimed "we'd have to fall asleep" for the Nets to win a single game. At the end of the game, Jordan laughed at Douglas after blocking his final desperate shot.
Jordan owned Douglas in each of their encounters over the span of 10 years and four different teams.
Jordan's crazy sweep makes him the only NBA player to ever record 30 wins over a single player. Only LeBron James came close to accomplishing Jordan's feat, going 28-1 against Kemba Walker.
