Todd Zolecki reports that the Phillies will start J.A. Happ tomorrow against the Mets. With Hamels moving to today's spot in the rotation, Happ slides into the two slot at home, against Johan Santana, on the Fourth of July. No pressure or anything, J.A.
In his last Triple-A start, Happ allowed just 1 run in 7+ innings. Last year, in his Major League debut on June 30, Happ allowed 5 runs in 4 innings of work to... the Mets. We're confident he's all the better for the experience, and also that the Mets suck more than they did last year.
