Junior guards Josh Hart of Villanova and Jordan Price of La Salle have been named Co-Big 5 Player of the Week.
Hart was a big part of No. 6 Villanova's 60-55 win over No. 18 Butler on Sunday night. He scored 22 points on 10 of 15 from the field and pulled down 11 rebounds. It was his second straight double-double. Last Wednesday he recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds in the Wildcats' 72-63 win over Seton Hall.
The Explorers have struggled this season but they were able upset No. 25 Dayton on Saturday night behind 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists from Price. For the week, he averaged 19 points, 8.5 rebounds and five assists per game and scored his 1,000th career point.
Villanova will continue its Big East schedule when they welcome Marquette to the Pavilion on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m.
La Salle hits the road to take on Richmond on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
