
AMHERST, Mass. -- Trey Davis scored 27 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds, Donte Clark added 17 points, and Massachusetts snapped a three-game losing streak with a 69-52 win over La Salle on Saturday night.
Davis was 7 of 7 from the free-throw line, added four steals and made 4 of 8 3s for Massachusetts (13-17, 6-12 Atlantic 10).
The Minutemen led 30-25 at intermission and pushed the advantage into double digits less than three minutes into the second half.
A 3-pointer from Clark with 3:46 left gave the Minutemen a 62-42 lead, matching their biggest lead of the game.
La Salle (8-21, 4-14) finished 18 of 64 from the field and never made a run in the second half.
Cleon Roberts led the Explorers with 14 points and Jordan Price and Yevgen Sakhniuk added 13 apiece.
