ST. LOUIS -- Ruben Guillandeaux put in a layup with 19 seconds left to lift La Salle over Saint Louis 78-77 on Wednesday night.

Down 75-68 with about four minutes to go, Earl Pettis and Guillandeaux hit back-to-back 3-pointers for the Explorers (12-13, 4-6 Atlantic 10) to make it a one-point game.

Brian Conklin answered with a pair of free throws with 2:04 left put the Billikens (8-15, 3-7) ahead 77-74.

But La Salle's Tyreek Duren responded with two free throws of his own and Guillandeaux soon made the winning layup.

Guillandeaux finished with 20 points. Jerrell Williams added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Explorers while Aaric Murray scored 18 points.

Conklin led Saint Louis with 18 points while Kyle Cassity scored 14 and three players -- Dwayne Evans, Mike McCall and Jordair Jett -- each scored 10.
James Madison 68, Drexel 54

Denzel Bowles scored 23 points and had 14 rebounds to lead James Madison to a 68-54 victory over Drexel on Wednesday night.Anthony Hitchens added 14 points to help the Dukes (18-8, 8-6 Colonial Athletic Association) rally to win for the first time in three games.Drexel (16-8, 8-6) led 25-9 with 8:51 left in the first half, but James Madison outscored the Dragons 20-7 to pull within 32-29 at halftime.Bowles, who was averaging 18.1 points and 9.1 rebounds entering the game, hit a jumper to give the Dukes their first lead at 38-26 with 16:43 to play. His dunk extended James Madison's lead to 51-44 with 10:41 to play.Devon Moore added 12 points for James Madison, which swept the season series from the Dragons, who were 1 for 12 on 3-point attempts (8.3 percent).Samme Givens led Drexel with 22 points and 11 rebounds and Dartaye Ruffin added 10 points.
