Phillies Only Winners at Eagles SNF Loss to New York Giants

Phillies leftfielder Pat Burrell and pitcher Cole Hamels took part
in the pregame coin toss
and received a loud ovation from the crowd at
the Linc. They received another ovation with 6 minutes, 45 seconds left
in the first quarter when they were introduced a second time after the
Eagles congratulated the 2008 World Series champions on both giant
end-zone scoreboards.

In addition to Burrell and Hamels, vice president-elect Joe Biden
was in attendance, sitting in owner Jeffrey Lurie's private box.

Perhaps Andy Reid should have thought about using Pat Burrell last night. They certainly could have used the offense.
