The Inquirer's Jim Salisbury tells it like it is today in a great article this morning:
The best pitching acquisition the Phillies might be able to make is
sitting right in their clubhouse, probably with a long face, probably
feeling sorry for himself. His name is Brett Myers, and right now, he's killing this team.
Right now, he stinks. If that's a little too blunt, too bad. That's the
way the tough-guy righthander talks. That's what he understands.
Yo, Brett, you stink. You're 3-8 with a 5.58 ERA in 15 starts. Your
club is 4-11 in those starts. You're supposed to be better than this.
Are you?

This article was a long time coming. Myers has put in his time in Philly and had some great years, including moving to the pen last year for the good of the team. It's because of his solid history that he hasn't heard it this thick earlier this year.
But it's nearing the end of June and Myers hasn't straightened out just yet. Time to step up, Brett.
