Brackins, 6-foot-4 and 221 pounds, played for the Soul for two seasons (2007 and '08) and is the first former member of the team to re-sign with the club.
The Soul re-acquired receiver Mike Brown via trade with San Jose last Friday.
First Mike Brown and now Larry Brackins. It will be great to see those guys in a Soul uniform again, head coach Mike Hohensee said in a statement released by the team. Larry is a dominant presence in the red zone, and a proven winner who understands how hard you must work in order to call yourself a 'Champion'.
Brackins caught 107 passes for 1,412 yards and 29 touchdowns in 15 games in his last season with the Soul. He hauled in five touchdowns in three playoff games, as well.
