The Soul defeated Cleveland 70-35, claiming the right to represent the National Conference in Arena Bowl (insert random combination of Roman numerals here). No disputed game-winning touchdowns for Philly required this time.
Cleveland's Gladiator defense could muster only one stop against Matt D'Orazio and the Soul offense, which features a high-priced O-line and the bee-yoo-tiful receiving skills of Chris Jackson (surprisingly held to just 2 TD's in this game, last among Philly receivers, no doubt bearing the brunt of C-town's defensive efforts).
The play of the day (postseason? season?) belonged to DB/KR Mike Brown, who as the video shows made an absolute chump of one poor bastard on the Gladiators special teams. Witness and admire the footage below:

The Soul will now face San Jose, who defeated Grand Rapids 81-55 for the American Conference Championship.
OK, it may only be minor-league stuff, but an AFL title would still
be nice. At least our second-tier teams are capable of going the
distance.
