NEW YORK -- Youssou Ndoye scored 18 points and Dion Wright added 15 points as St. Bonaventure completed a three-game sweep of St. Joseph's this season with a 60-49 victory Thursday in the second round of the Atlantic 10 tournament.
The seventh-seeded Bonnies (18-12) advanced to face No. 2 Dayton on Friday at Barclays Center. St. Bonaventure has won four straight heading into the quarterfinals.
St. Joseph's (13-18), the defending A-10 tournament champion, went cold offensively in the second half, shooting 17 percent from the field and scoring 21 points.
"Well, you know, it's always, in my humble opinion, it's been a numeric game," St. Joe's head coach Phil Martelli said. "Whether you are at the top, middle of the league, bottom of the league, it's a numeric game, and we are sitting here going home losing a game where we gave up 40 percent field goal. Good defense, but the offensive numbers, we just didn't have it.
"I just told them, I apologized to the team. Should have had more. We actually spent our time working on offense Monday and Tuesday, but we didn't have it. Not lack of trying. In some ways, it was very good defense. We missed some tight shots and got tighter and the room got smaller on us."
DeAndre' Bembry, the conference's leading scorer, went 3 for 14 from the field and scored 12 points for the 10th-seeded Hawks. Isaiah Miles had 19 points.

Yeah, I was making it very difficult for myself," Bembry said. "A lot of the lanes, floaters, a lot of fadeaway jump spots. I didn't really get my legs under me on most of them, and a lot of it was contested, as well. Just made it very difficult."
Marcus Posley's fast-break layup with 2:25 left gave the Bonnies a 49-41 lead, the largest of the game to that point.
Ndoye sealed it with a breakaway dunk to make it 55-45 with 1:26 left.
"We've got to walk out together because we walked in together and started in September together," Martelli said. "It's unfortunate. The toughest day of the year is tomorrow as a head coach because you want to believe that you can fix everything if you just have one more day, and now we don't have one more day. Appreciate their efforts and look forward to watching a great tournament over the weekend."
