When they met almost exactly a month ago, Villanova was surrounded by orange, with a near-record crowd in attendence at the Carrier Dome for the match up between the two teams who were both ranked in the top ten at that point. Villanova won in enemy territory that night, and will find themselves in the friendlier confines of the Wells Fargo Center this evening.
Both teams have struggled a bit as of late and fallen in the rankings over the last month -- Villanova from No. 7 at that point to No. 14 today, and Syracuse from No. 3 a month ago down to No. 20 today.

"We're going to definitely put Stokesy out there," Wright said. "We'regoing to start him and see what he can do. It's senior night, so I'mhappy for him."
More of those Philly hoops bragging rights are on the line tonight. That and, perhaps more importantly, positioning among the mid/upper teams in the big East standings as well.
