Temple football's season opener against Army has been moved up a day to Friday, Sept. 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., and the game will be nationally televised by CBS Sports Network.
The full schedule was announced earlier this month.
The Temple Owls are coming off a wildly successful 2015 season that saw them go 10-4 overall and 7-1 in the American Athletic Conference. They lost to Houston in the AAC title game and to Toledo in the Boca Raton Bowl.
