Temple freshman guard Trey Lowe will likely miss the rest of the season after suffering upper-body injuries in a one-car accident Sunday morning.
Lowe is currently at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
"I visited Trey and his family on both Sunday and Monday at the hospital," Owls head coach Fran Dunphy said in a statement released by the school. "Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time and we are hopeful that he will make a full recovery."
In 28 games, including five starts, this season, Lowe averaged 4.8 points. He scored a season-high 21 points against then-No. 1 Villanova on Feb. 17.
