Halloween should be fun at the Linc.
That's when and where currently unbeaten Temple (5-0) will host No. 14 Notre Dame (5-1).
And that showdown will be in front of a sold-out crowd, the school announced Tuesday.
"The energy and buzz surrounding our football program has never been greater," Temple's director of athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft said. "It has been a special year for our entire university, and we are looking forward to an exciting event on Halloween for our fans and the city of Philadelphia."
This marks the first time the Owls have sold out two games in a season since 1976. Temple also sold out its season opener against Penn State.
The Owls, off to their best start since 1974, are ranked 26th overall in the AP college football poll. They haven't been ranked in the Top 25 since 1979.
Before taking on the Fighting Irish, Temple hosts UCF Saturday and visits East Carolina Oct. 22.
