The 2008 MLB All Star Game is about to get underway in the Bronx. America's hero, Chase Utley, will be batting in the two hole for the National League squad. After last night's episode, we wouldn't be shocked if our man two-six puts a Cliff Lee curveball deep into the short porch. While rounding the bases, Chase will extend both of his middle fingers high into the New York air and complete his ascension into the pantheon of Philadelphia legends.
We may post some observations throughout below. So follow along and add your thoughts. Go NL! Or something.

Hey, there's Michael Jack Schmidt, Robin Roberts, and Steve Carlton. They are there because all living Hall of Famers are in attendance because this is Yankee Stadium's final game ever. Besides the 35 or so more later this season.
Chase Utley does not really get booed during his introduction. Carry on.
8:34 - The game has still not started.

9:30 - Chase Utley comes up for the second time in the third inning with Hanley Ramirez on first. Chase gets jammed and sends a chopper down to first. Wake me up when something interesting happens.
10:20 - Chase got a hit in his third at bat that helped move Hanley Ramirez to third and eventually scored on the next at bat. Way to go Chase.
