While You Were Working… Briere Scores Again, But Leaves With LB Injury

Share

The Flyers matinee was pretty quiet early on, but Danny Briere opened the scoring once again, and the Flyers ended up winning 3-1. Marty Biron turned away 35 shots, Mike Richards scored on yet another short-handed opportunity, and Kimmo added the EN goal. However, the news isn't all good, as Briere came out of the game with an unspecified lower body injury. He's scored in each of two games after returning early from a six-game absence following surgery to repair a tear in his abdomen. With his production so far this season, it'd be tough to see him out of the lineup for any length of time.
