Who’s the best quarterback in the draft?
Renowned NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock has made a change atop his rankings. Mayock moved Marcus Mariota ahead of Florida State's Jameis Winston in his latest positional rankings.
The former Oregon signal caller is now ranked No. 1 at his position followed by Winston, Baylor's Bryce Petty, Colorado State's Garrett Grayson and UCLA's Brett Hundley. Hundley already has discussed why he’d be a good fit in Chip Kelly's system, and Geoff Mosher has the Eagles taking him at No. 20.
Other players that have been linked to the Eagles also appear in Mayock's positional rankings.
Wide receivers Breshad Perriman and Nelson Algohor, both of whom reportedly have met with the Eagles, have risen in Mayock’s rankings. Perriman is up one spot to No. 4, and the previously unranked Algohor is tied at No. 5 with the controversial but talented Dorial Green-Beckham.
Algohor, who was named third team All-American and first team All-Pac 12 in 2014, has drawn comparisons to Jeremy Maclin, as the two have almost identical measurables. The USC product led the Trojans in receptions (104) and receiving yards (1,313) to go along with 10 touchdown catches. Many believe Algohor is best-suited for the slot.
Perriman blew scouts away at UCF's pro day. The 6-3, 215-pounder turned in a blistering 4.27 40-yard dash after skipping the event at the combine with a hamstring injury. Perriman's combination of size and speed is intriguing. Last year with the Knights he registered 1,044 yards, averaging nearly 21 yards per reception.

Two other players the Eagles brought in for visits could help the team's need in the secondary.
LSU corner Jalen Collins, who visited the team Tuesday, comes in at No. 2 behind Michigan State's Trae Waynes. At 6-1, Collins would seem to be a fit for Billy Davis' defense.
After spending time with him at UConn's pro day last week, the Eagles on Wednesday brought in defensive back Byron Jones.
Tied at No. 5 with Utah’s Eric Rowe, the versatile Jones (6-1, 199) spent two seasons at safety before moving to corner last season. Where he’ll play in the NFL has yet to be determined, but Jones is a freak athlete. He wowed scouts at the combine with a broad jump of 12 feet, three inches, which shattered the event’s record and is believed to be a world record.
Miami (Ohio) safety Quinten Rollins could be an option for the Eagles at No. 20. Ranked fourth by Mayock, Rollins (5-11, 195) would seem to fit Davis' mold for safety. After spending his first four seasons at Miami as the starting point guard on the basketball team, Rollins joined the football team as a fifth-year senior and played cornerback.
In his lone year of college football, he recorded seven interceptions and was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Year.
