2020 NFL Draft: Watch K'Von Wallace, family go crazy after Eagles pick Clemson safety

Share

The Eagles selected Clemson safety K'Von Wallace with the No. 127 pick in the NFL Draft on Saturday, a common sense pick that bolsters the team's secondary for 2020. Fans enjoyed the pick.

So did Wallace.

The 22-year-old fired up his Instagram Live in the moments after receiving a call from the Eagles, and the scene in his home was pure jubilant chaos:

Personally, whoever was repeatedly shouting "Hallelujah!" in the background really put the icing on the cake.

Wallace then proceeded to head outside and stream an impropmtu dance party, because in case you can't tell, the dude is fired up about joining the Eagles:

It seems Wallace may have been crossing his fingers to be picked by the Eagles:

And Wallace has good reason to be pumped: he's a pretty big fan of Eagles legend Brian Dawkins, another former Clemson safety. Wallace has a Wolverine illustration as his Instagram profile picture, and has the nickname "Wolverine" in his Instagram bio.

Turns out, he used to room with Dawkins' son, Brian Dawkins Jr., at Clemson:

It would seem Wallace models himself as a Weapon X-style defensive back. That certainly wouldn't hurt.
