Not a single person expected the Jets to win this one. They were on the road visiting the Chiefs … it just wasn’t going to happen. They are *still* searching for that first win of the season.

It looks like that Week 1 win for the Jaguars was as fluky as a win can get. They might as well pack things up for the year and hope that they’re able to draft Trevor Lawrence in 2021.

There were probably many discussions during this bye week talking about the issues of this 1-6 team. While there’s going to be no immediate fix, or any at all for the remainder of this season … something had to be done to pass the time, right?

This was a pretty interesting game for the Giants. Considering the matchup and difference in talent, it seemed like the Buccaneers would’ve produced a commanding win over New York, but instead, the Giants were able to keep things interesting until the half. Their production fizzled a bit in the final 24 minutes, but it was good to see they still have a pulse.

Who decided on all the Thursday Night Football games for the 2020 season? Were they just picked out of a hat? Seriously a Falcons-Panthers showdown was less than thrilling, to say the least. Even though the Falcons found themselves in the win column of this one, it was poorly executed.

If this were any other season looking at a pathetic 2-5 record, you’d want to throw in the towel and look ahead to the following for your own sanity. Considering how terrible the NFC East is though, Washington is still very much in the running to win the division. Absolutely wild.

This has been a rough season for the Cowboys so far, considering the amount of injuries they’re dealing with. Those struggles were no different against the Eagles. While they stayed in it until the half, their momentum quickly stalled, and Philadelphia used that to break away.

This is most definitely a loss the Chargers are going to be kicking themselves for, considering they gave up a pretty decent lead over the Broncos and lost by just a single point.

You never really know what you’re going to get out of the Vikings each week. While it seemed like all hope was gone, they went out on the road and had their best game of the season, stealing a win against the Packers.

Kudos to the Broncos. For a team that looked like they could’ve very well just packed things up and called it a loss, they put up a fight against the Chargers. They needed every minute on the clock to pull ahead, and even though they won by a single point, it showed that Denver stills has some resilience.

Finally, a game where all sides of the Bengals decided to show up. This was an exciting game to be able to see what Joe Burrow is truly capable of and through eight weeks, it’s still so impressive to watch this rookie in action. The fact this win came against the Titans, one of the stronger teams in the league in 2020, makes it even sweeter.

It’s such a strange feeling to see the Patriots so low on this list with a 2-5 record in the first week of November. It was a close one against the Bills, but New England failed to ever take that next leap and gain control of the game. Every great dynasty falls eventually, but who knew Bill Belichick’s would fall so hard?

The Lions must not understand the point of having a home advantage for a game, considering they’ve lost all their home games in 2020 so far. It’s rather interesting, considering they have a solid 3-1 road record. The next month consists of games against teams with losing records, so let’s see how they handle it.

Just call the Eagles the best of the worst in the NFC East. Even though this was an important division win, this is probably a game Carson Wentz would like to forget. He just looked lost out there. It’s strange to say they are sitting in first place with a 3-4-1 record, but here we are.

The Panthers really had a good thing going for them a bit ago, posting a three- game winning streak … but things have taken a nasty turn, losing their last three. All their hard work was now cancelled out due to these poor losses and it doesn’t seem likely it’ll stop anytime soon. Up next, they’re off to face the reigning champions.

Many seemed a little hesitant when it came to enjoying the early success from the Dolphins, but after this week’s win against the Rams, it’s hard to deny how far they’ve come in just a single season.

Mark the Raiders-Browns matchup as the first game of 2020 with snow on the field. Even though they’re used to the sunny heat on the west coast, weather didn’t affect the Raiders, who adjusted their game which ultimately worked in their favor.

I don’t think anyone expected the 49ers to struggle this much after coming off a season as NFC Champions. With Jimmy Garoppolo struggling to move the ball and now being out indefinitely, who knows what direction this team is going to head down.

The days of taking an easy win from the Dolphins are over and they made sure to put their stamp of approval on that this week. It wasn’t necessarily a terrible game from the Rams, but the stats certainly don’t tell the whole story. This was definitely a win they would’ve liked though, as their next stretch of games is going to be quite a difficult task.

While the Browns had a brutal loss against the Steelers a few weeks back, this loss against the Raiders could be looked at as just as bad, but for different reasons. Why? Well, this is a game they should have won. While this only knocked their record to 5-2, the AFC North has too much talent to have any more of those losses in the future.

The Bears have been back and forth just about every week of the season – things were no different when they faced the Saints this past week. While Nick Foles pulled out some of his late game magic to help his team into overtime with a chance to win it, the Saints weren’t going to slip up on their opportunity to win this when they could.

The start of this season made it seem like the Titans were going to be competing with the best of the best in 2020, but the past two weeks could make you believe otherwise. That’s not a knock on them either – it’s incredibly clear that this Tennessee team holds an ample amount of talent. It seems like to lose that small sense of worry, they’re going to have to show up against the Bears.

The Colts did just about everything you could ask for in a win … and then some. Philip Rivers was on a whole new level against the Lions, but even the running game came to play. This win tied them for first place alongside the Titans in the AFC South and their first matchup of the year coming in just two weeks, is more important than ever.

The Cardinals are in an incredible place right now as their bye week is coming to an end. When looking at their schedule through the first eight weeks, it looks like the matchups were leaning toward the easier side until that Seahawks game. Still, they have a 5-2 record and don’t look like they’re slowing down anytime soon.

This game should’ve been won without the stress of forcing overtime. If your team is giving up 10 points late in a game, it’s not something to be cheering about – win or not. Still, they’re now maintaining a solid 5-2 record and have won four straight.

While the Patriots were bad, the Bills were also using this game as an opportunity to showcase what they’re made of. After a disappointing loss to the Chiefs just a few weeks back, the Bills have really taken the past two games to right the path they’re taking. Let’s see how it holds up when the face the Seahawks in Week 9.

This Ravens-Steelers matchup was one of the most exciting games of the season so far and for all the right reasons. A win for the Ravens would’ve tied them for first in the AFC North and even though they were right in reach of taking the Steelers’ perfect record away from them, they fell short.

This wasn’t a loss that many were expecting. It’s difficult as it is to come to play in Green Bay, but to be one of the most confusing teams in the league (the Vikings) and pull off a win like this? It’s a pretty bad look for the Packers. Now at 5-2, they have the Bears trailing just behind them in the NFC North.

This one was way too close for comfort, considering there were a pretty good amount of time that the Giants led in this one. The momentum for both teams shifted in opposite directions at the start of the second half, and while the Giants were slowing down, the Buccaneers were able to heat up. They’re now 6-2 on the season and have an intense week ahead against the Saints.

When Russell Wilson brings his A-game, there’s not much that can be done to stop him. With the 49ers not coming off as a threat, the Seahawks were able to create some crazy space point-wise. Though that gap eventually narrowed, they were still able to pull off their sixth win of the season.

Sometimes losses are a good thing. A few weeks back when the Chiefs lost to the Raiders, it was their first fall from the top of the world as reigning Super Bowl Champions. Ever since, they’ve kicked things into high gear. Sure, every team can look good against the Jets, but this was a win that should’ve been a win. It’s just as important.

For the second consecutive week in a row, the Steelers top off this power ranking. There’s not much room to argue with it either – they’re the only perfect team left in the NFL, with a 7-0 record. This win gave them just a tad bit of wiggle room at the top of their division, but they can’t sit back and relax anytime soon, since the Ravens are closely behind them.
