FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The fourth quarter started just in time for Tom Brady to overcome some early drops and lead the Patriots on a comeback.

And it ended just in time for New England to hold on for a victory.

Brady overcame New England's shaky first three quarters by throwing for a pair of touchdowns in the fourth, and the Patriots defeated the New York Jets 30-23 on Sunday to remain unbeaten.

The Super Bowl MVP completed 13 of 16 passes for 135 yards in the final quarter to overcome a 20-16 deficit and give New England (6-0) a two-game lead over the Jets in the AFC East (see full recap).

Falcons bounce back, Titans' home skid 9
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Atlanta wide receiver Julio Jones wants the Falcons to snap out of their offensive funk, even if they found a way to squeeze out an ugly win.

Matt Ryan threw for 251 yards and a touchdown pass, and Devonta Freeman ran for 116 yards as the Falcons held off the Tennessee Titans 10-7 Sunday.

The Falcons (6-1) bounced back from their first loss this season by grinding out a road win and overcoming two interceptions. Freeman notched his third consecutive game with at least 100 yards, and Atlanta outgained Tennessee 378-256 in squeaking out the win (see full recap).

Dolphins up 41-0 at half, roll by Texans
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins led 35-0 midway through the first half, and while the rest of the sideline celebrated, interim coach Dan Campbell stood alone, staring at the scoreboard and managing to keep a straight face.

For Campbell it was business as usual, with blowouts the norm so far.

The Dolphins' astounding turnaround under their new coach gained momentum Sunday, when Ryan Tannehill completed his first 18 attempts and threw for four scores in first 16 minutes to help beat the Houston Texans 44-26 (see full recap).

Saints open up 27-0 lead, hold off Colts
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Saints showed Sunday they can still go toe-to-toe with anyone in the NFL.

They just need to find that elusive knockout punch.

After taking a 27-point third-quarter lead at Indianapolis and watching another implausible comeback try from Andrew Luck, the Saints recovered an onside kick and ran out the clock to preserve a crucial 27-21 victory.

"When we had them at zero, we needed to keep them at zero," safety Kenny Vaccaro said. "We can't get excited about shutting out a team for a half. We still have to finish the game," (see full recap).

Gurley scores 2 TDs, Rams whip Browns
ST. LOUIS -- Todd Gurley heard the fans chanting his name. The rookie is commanding that kind of attention.

Gurley rushed for 128 yards and his first two NFL touchdowns, helping the St. Louis Rams put away the Cleveland Browns 24-6 on Sunday.

"It's not all me," he said. "We've just got to keep improving and executing."

During the week, coach Jeff Fisher said Gurley wasn't yet 100 percent. He looked pretty dominant against the Browns, hurdling tacklers on at least two occasions and churning for extra yards up the middle (see full recap).

Carr throws for 3 TDs, Raiders embarrass Chargers
SAN DIEGO -- For three quarters, the Oakland Raiders embarrassed their possible future stadium mates, the San Diego Chargers.

Not only did Oakland practically run San Diego out of its own stadium, but there were enough Raiders fans to make it feel almost like a home game.

Derek Carr threw three touchdown passes, including a nifty 52-yarder to Amari Cooper, and Oakland turned two interceptions of Philip Rivers into 10 points on its way to a 37-29 victory over the Chargers on Sunday in what could be the last showdown between the AFC West foes played in San Diego (see full recap).
