The Dez Bryant buzz — if there was any — has obviously worn off a bit.
Alshon Jeffery, the Eagles' No. 1 wide receiver, is back and already producing. He caught a touchdown in his 2018 debut Sunday.
Jordan Matthews was signed to provide a boost and his reunion is off to a nice start. He caught a 56-yard touchdown pass Sunday and has chemistry with Carson Wentz.
Meanwhile, Zach Ertz and Nelson Agholor aren't slowing down and should be even better with Jeffery on the field demanding attention from the opposing defense.
So that whole Bryant-to-the-Eagles rumbling has settled considerably as the former Cowboy remains unemployed through Week 4 of the regular season.
But if the Eagles ever do want to entertain the possibility of bringing in Bryant, they'll at least know he likes their quarterback.
Bryant was clearly tuning into Sunday's action across the NFL. Once he saw the Eagles' highlights, he was left impressed with Mr. Wentz.
That's some cool respect.
But, actually, who wouldn't like Wentz?
