Eagles' draft day hat features bits of Philadelphia seal and flag

The Eagles’ draft day caps have been released and are (obviously) for sale

This year’s version includes part of the city seal of Philadelphia, with the words Philadelphia Maneto, which apparently roughly translates to “let brotherly love endure.” The seal is on the city flag, which is also featured on the inside of the hat.

This is the hat they’ll plop on the head of the Eagles’ No. 25 pick in Nashville on April 25 if he happens to be in attendance for the draft.

My first thought was these don’t look great, but it is pretty neat to incorporate the seal of the city in the hat. Something more subtle would have actually been cool. This seems to have missed the mark, though.

Here are some looks:

And there are even hats in the yellow and blue colors of the Philadelphia flag. The Eagles wore their throwback colors in 2007, during the 75th anniversary of the franchise.
