Eagles Injury Update: Jason Peters 50-50; Mychal Kendricks out

Share

The Eagles have officially ruled linebacker Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Saints (see scouting report). Kendricks tried to play last week, but left the Eagles' loss to the Redskins after the first defensive series.

Left tackle Jason Peters (quad), who has said he will play Sunday, is listed as questionable. Peters was active last week, but like Kendricks, left the game early and did not return.

Guard Allen Barbre (groin), right tackle Lane Johnson (knee) and cornerback Byron Maxwell (quad) are all listed as probable. Maxwell and Barbre left last week against Washington and did not return. Johnson fought through an MCL sprain because of the injuries to the rest of the offensive line.

Defensive ends Taylor Hart and Cedric Thornton, and safety Chris Maragos (quad) are also listed as probable. The return of Thornton and Hart will help bolster the defensive line after the loss of Brandon Bair (groin), who is out against the Saints.

Kiko Alonso (knee) is still rehabbing and will be out a few more weeks.
