Eagles-Redskins bullet points: Both teams strong against the run

Breaking down eight key points heading into the Eagles' Week 4 matchup with the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field:

• Who do you trust more in this game: Sam Bradford (62.4 completion percentage, three TDs, four INTs, 72.5 QB rating) or Kirk Cousins (69.2 completion percentage., three TDs, four INTs, 81.3 QB rating)?

• Good news! DeSean Jackson is out for this game with a hamstring injury. In two games against the Eagles last year, D-Jac had nine catches for 243 yards and a touchdown.

• In what could be a very sloppy game, turnovers could be key. Through three games, the Eagles' defense has forced eight turnovers. Washington's defense has forced just one and the 'Skins still don't have an interception.

• Gaining yards on the ground could be tough for both offenses. The Eagles' defense is the best in the league against the run, allowing just 3.1 yards per attempt. But the 'Skins aren't to shabby, giving up just 3.6 yards per carry.

• 'Skins RB Alfred Morris started the season with 121 yards rushing, but his numbers have gone down significantly over his last two outings. Maybe because rookie RB Matt Jones has been running with authority, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

• Jordan Matthews has 22 receptions for 231 yards and one TD this season, while Nelson Agholor, Riley Cooper, Miles Austin and Josh Huff have combined for 13 catches, 122 yards and zero TDs.

• Since 2013, each game in this series has been decided by eight points or less, including a pair of three-point decisions in 2014.

• This will be the 163rd meeting between these two squads. Washington leads the all-time series, 82-74-6, but the Eagles have won six of their last nine meetings at FedEx Field, and Chip Kelly is 3-1 overall vs. Washington.
