The NFL’s schedule release has been scheduled, so schedule your plans accordingly.
The NFL will release the full 2020 regular season schedule on Thursday night at 8 p.m. EST.
We don’t know what the NFL season will look like in 2020, but the league is hoping to move forward despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Time will tell if that will be possible.
In a world without sports, the schedule release now qualifies as a major sporting event. And the NFL Network is really treating it as such. The NFL Network is hosting a three-hour (!) show called Schedule Release ’20 starting on Thursday night at 8 p.m. But the full schedule will be released at 8 and we’ll break it all down for you on NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com.
We don’t know the order yet, be we do know the Eagles’ opponents for 2020 and they’re going to have a tough first-place schedule that includes five playoff teams from 2019:
Home games: Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, Ravens, Bengals, Rams, Saints, Seahawks
Road games: Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, Cardinals, Browns, Packers, Steelers, 49ers
NFL
There was initially a thought the Eagles could end up playing that road game against the Cardinals in Mexico City but the NFL announced on Monday that all games will be played in the United States this year because of the pandemic.
