The Eagles found a taker for Mark Sanchez.
The Eagles have sent Sanchez to the Broncos for a conditional draft pick in 2017.
KUSA-TV's Mike Klis in Denver first reported the trade.
Whatever the compensation, it's just gravy; this trade was about getting some salary cap relief for a player the Eagles no longer wanted.
While the Eagles would have saved $3.5 million in cap room if they cut Sanchez, they will save $4.5 million by trading him because $1 million of his base salary in 2016 was guaranteed.
It was pretty obvious the Eagles were moving on from Sanchez because they re-signed Sam Bradford and then brought in Chase Daniel to be the backup quarterback. On Wednesday, head coach Doug Pederson said Bradford was the starter and Daniel was the No. 2. He said Sanchez could maybe compete for the third job. Translation: Sanchez was going to be gone, one way or another.
The real question was whether or not the team would trade Sanchez or just release him.

Luckily for the Eagles, they found a taker.
Sanchez, 29, was with the Eagles for two years in Philadelphia. In 2014, he played in nine games, starting eight, and threw 14 touchdown passes to go along with 11 interceptions. In 2015, he played in four games, starting twice, and threw four touchdowns and four interceptions.
The Broncos are in need of quarterbacks after Peyton Manning retired and Brock Osweiler left in free agency to join the Texans.
