Jason Peters leaves Eagles-Giants game with biceps injury

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Eagles left tackle Jason Peters is out for the rest of Thursday night's game with a biceps injury. He left on the first drive of the second half and trainers were looking at his right arm.

When Peters came out of the game, he was replaced by Halapoulivaati Vaitai, who will finish the game.

Peters, 36, was already dealing with a quad injury. On the play in which he hurt his biceps, the veteran tackle stayed on the ground for a few seconds, clearly in pain.

It’s too early to speculate on what the injury could be, but it might not be a good sign.

The Eagles came in to this game with Peters and Lane Johnson (ankle) banged up. Johnson is still in pain, but is gutting out this game.
