One of the Eagles' three Pro Bowlers won't be playing in the annual game in Hawaii.
Eagles left tackle Jason Peters has been replaced in the game by Bears tackle Kyle Long for injury reasons.
Peters, 33, dealt with several injuries throughout the 2015 season, including a pinched nerve in his back, a sprained ankle and an elbow injury. According to a league source, Peters met with Eagles trainers and decided he wouldn't play in the game because of the accumulated injuries.
Despite not playing in the game, Peters still hit a $500,000 escalator for being selected to this year's Pro Bowl. This is the third consecutive year and eighth time overall that Peters has been named to the Pro Bowl.
After the 2013 season, Peters signed a four-year extension through the 2018 season. In 2016, Peters, who turns 34 on Jan. 22, will have a base salary of $7.55 million with a cap hit of $9.3 million.
The Eagles' other two Pro Bowlers from the 2015 season are Fletcher Cox and Darren Sproles.
