We continue to look at the rumors involving the NFL's coaching carousel on Monday.
Normally this is considered "Black Monday" but plenty of rumors and personnel decisions were reported on Sunday.
The Eagles will be at the center of all of it, with their own coaching search beginning with in-house candidates Duce Staley and Pat Shurmur (see full story).
The Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants and potentially the Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, or more could all be competing for the same top talent as Jeffrey Lurie.
We'll be updating this post throughout the day, so check back for the latest.
• Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and Saints head coach Sean Payton top the Eagles' list, according to Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News.
Harbaugh, who spent 10 seasons with the Eagles — special teams coordinator from 1998 to 2006, secondary coach in 2007 — would obviously be difficult to land, even coming off a down season. He's won a Super Bowl with Baltimore and has two years remaining on his contract.
• Payton is a name that has been brought up as possibly being available. Payton was the Eagles quarterbacks coach back in the late '90s. Would a reunion be possible? He is still under contract so the Saints are looking for compensation. What they are reportedly seeking is something the Eagles don't have according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Eagles, of course, traded away their second-round pick for quarterback Sam Bradford.
• In a move that was expected, Tom Coughlin is out as Giants head coach. Coughlin won two Super Bowls and compiled a 102-90 record in his 12 years with the Giants.
• Take one potential coaching candidate off the board. In a somewhat surprising move considering their tumultuous 8-8 campaign, the Colts announced they have agreed to a contract extension head coach Chuck Pagano, whose original contract ended after Sunday’s win over the Titans.
• The Dolphins on Monday evening interviewed former Falcons head coach Mike Smith. The 55-year-old Smith went 66-46 in seven seasons leading the Falcons, including a trip to the 2012 NFC Championship Game.
• A familiar NFC East face may be getting back into coaching. Former Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan will interview for the Dolphins' head coaching vacancy according to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com.
• Jacksonville Jaguars assistant head coach Doug Marrone left the Buffalo Bills after leading the team to a winning record in 2014. He appears to be fairly hot commodity.
San Diego Chargers head coach Mike McCoy has survived Black Monday. The team has decided to stick with McCoy despite a 4-12 finish in 2015.
There are now rumblings that Marrone will interview in Philly.
