HOUSTON -- Texans running back Arian Foster is out for the season with an Achilles tendon injury, a significant blow for a team that was just blown out for the second time this season.

Coach Bill O'Brien said Monday he expects Foster to miss the rest of the season but didn't elaborate on the injury to Foster's right leg.

Foster was injured without being hit late in the Texans 44-26 loss to Miami on Sunday. He was in motion when he fell to the ground at the beginning of a play.

Foster missed the first three games of the season after tearing his groin muscle in training camp (see full story)

Colts: Ankle injury expected to keep Dorsett out 4-6 weeks
INDIANAPOLIS -- Colts receiver Phillip Dorsett said Monday he expects to miss four to six weeks with a fractured left ankle.

The rookie was waiting on an MRI to determine if there were any additional complications.

Dorsett, Indy's first-round draft pick, was injured midway through the second quarter of Sunday's game against New Orleans when he was hit low by one defender and then was awkwardly bent backward by another (see full story)

Bengals: Burfict moving well, but misses practice
CINCINNATI -- While the rest of his teammates stretched on the practice field, middle linebacker Vontaze Burfict went to a side field for a strenuous workout. He made quick cuts and ran at full speed.

The unbeaten Bengals are about to get one of their best players back.

Burfict was held out of practice on Monday when the Bengals (6-0) returned from their bye. During his personal workout, he moved smoothly and appeared to have no problem with his left knee.

Burfict is eligible to return from an injury list this week. He was still recovering from a second knee operation when the season began, and the Bengals decided to be cautious and give him a few more weeks (see full story)
