One oddsmaker likes the Cowboys a lot more in the playoffs than the Eagles

Eagles fans are likely fantasizing about simply watching their Birds on a Sunday this coming fall, hoping and praying we'll get that pleasure of live sports sometime soon. And if we're really lucky, maybe we can even walk into a casino and enjoy the hypnotizing sounds of slot machines chiming and chips being stacked, walk up to a teller and place a wager on our Eagles.

Caesars Sportsbook has high hopes for that as well and listed win totals and playoff odds for every team on Thursday.

Naturally, we went directly to the NFC East where the Eagles and Cowboys are the only two teams with serious championship aspirations.

Dallas and Philly both have strikingly similar numbers for the regular season but the book seems to think the Cowboys have a better shot once the postseason rolls around.

Both teams have the same win total over/under at 9.5 and both teams have the same +105 number to win the division.

Even the number to make the playoffs is quite similar: Eagles YES is at -220 while the Cowboys YES is -240.

That's where things start to differentiate for these two rivals. The Cowboys are 5-1 to win the NFC while the Eagles are much longer at 12-1.

As for either team hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season, the Cowboys are 11-1 while the Eagles are double that at 22-1.

The Cowboys improved their defense in a big way this offseason while the Eagles have plenty of questions in terms of Carson Wentz's arsenal heading into the draft.

The New York Giants and Washington Redskins are a distance away with paltry win totals of 5.5 and 4.5, respectively. The G-Men are 8-1 to win the division while the Redskins are 22-1.
